Johannesburg - Office of Communications and Information Surabaya City Government together with the local Internet cafe entrepreneur, Wednesday, forming the "Business Community Figuring Surabaya" (KUWAS) to control the rampant porn websites that happened so far.
Head of Post and Telecommunications Diskominfo Surabaya Adang Kurniawan, Wednesday said the goal was established "KUWAS" one of them is to control the porn sites are far more accessible in a cybercafe.
"We've been 'share' a fellow entrepreneur internet cafe, to form Newsletter tools (filters to block porn sites, red) in Surabaya special. So far, at Surabaya still participate Newsletter from Jakarta," he said in the event of Business Development and Operation of Telecommunications Services Discussions ( warung cafe) in Surabaya.
According to him, there are about 345 cybercafe entrepreneurs who are invited to form an organization of entrepreneurs cafe in Surabaya.
In addition, he continued, so far it considered that the Association of Indonesian Internet Cafes (AWARI) in Surabaya not maximal in the control of the porn sites are there in the cafe.
"AWARI more effective in Jakarta. So far there is no follow-up below. On that basis, we make KUWAS to be able to focus more on the inside," he asserted.
KUWAS purpose other than to block porn sites, also makes the cafe in the future comes down to education. Later, Diskominfo parties will work together with Telkom, so that every internet cafe provides one to two hours for students in accessing learning areas and free.
"Sale and purchase transactions among entrepreneurs will also be served through the cafe," he explained.
However, Adang insisted that his side still make unannounced (Sudden Inspection) to the cafe-cafe once a month to control the existence of a porn site access.
"We will do Sudden Inspection continuously so that the existence of Internet cafe in Surabaya can be monitored," he said explaining.
According to him, other than Sudden Inspection tersebuut goal is to record the existence of the cafe is unlicensed and not. For that, he continued, the institute emphasized that cafe owners who have not pocketed the permission promptly take care of licensing at the office of Infocom Surabaya.
